Default Ubud honeymoon

Hi all, planning on spending a week or so in June next year in Ubud but it seems that a lot of the accommodation is quite a way out of town. Could anyone recommend a nice villa or resort close to Ubud up to $200/night price range so we can easily access the restaurants, market etc? Ta

Default Ubud Accommodation

Perhaps either the Komaneka Resort or Pertiwi Resort which are both in Jl. Monkey Forest would suit you.

The gardens at Pertiwi are just lovely and the property runs between Jl. Monkey Forest and Jl. Bisma. Jl. Bisma has been developing more over the last few years but hopefully there are some wonderful rice padi views still to enjoy. I love the walk "around the block" - from Jl. Monkey Forest, though Pertiwi to Jl. Bisma then to Jl. Raya Ubud and back to Jl. Monkey Forest.

Good luck.

Catherine

Thank you Catherine, I reckon we might try for the Komaneka. Looks lovely.

hi, jo-jo.
we went to Ubud last year and really kicked out the jams by staying at Royal Pita Maha (it ran close to $300/night for our villa package--lots of perks 5 nights)
but we're seriously looking at an idea of returning to Bali-- 5 nights Viceroy via luxurylink.com. It's pretty hard to NOT get pampered for a little extra; I know it's a bit over the budget you mentioned...

Default Barong

You might like to check out the Barong on Monkey Forest Road. We had a look last time in Bali and will most definitely be staying there next visit.

Default Kajane Mua villas

HI jo jo,

Well worth checking out Kajane Mua Villas on Monkey Forest Rd. They would be in your price range. My husband and I had the best time in 2008. The honeymoon package has endless extras, including a romantic dinner.

It's almost across the road from Komaneka. THe villas are beautiful, modern and clean. The service faultless. You'd feel really reclusive and amongst the jungle but very conveniently located with a 7eleven across the road. The main drag of Monkey Forest Rd has countless quality shops and restaurant.

Enjoy your honeymoon!

Ana
