ewww ICK--I had to look up what you refer to as a singlet. To us it's a one piece sleeveless thing that wrestlers wear--w/legs(conjuring up bad visual of foreign men in Bali) then I saw it's also an undershirt--what we call a "wife beater"<picture Marlon Brando on the street calling for Stella >(not the beer, the woman!!)
