Default Oh Yes, my expectations

are not unrealistic. That said, I would still be interested in a look plus if someone mentions silversmiths they instantly have my undivided attention.

I'd love to take a trip back to Hanoi and recently we were in Thailand. Some time was spent in and around Bangkok and two weeks in and around Cha Am. I fell in love with Thailand all over again after a 22 year hiatus...oh dear, where does the time go!

Seeing places in the north of Bali that I've never been to and revisiting others again after many years has huge appeal. It must be close to 30 years ago that I stood on a beach in the very north and visited the village of Tianyar, among a few other places. I did the journey around Bali with 4 friends and our guide came from Tianyar village where we met his lovely family. It was a great experience for us all as Bali was new to us then and we were new to Bali (i.e. I think we were a bit of a novelty).

...

Hi Mark, how are you and your family?.....I imagine your children are growing up. Hope all is going extremely well.

Catherine

Talking Hi Catherine

Well are all very well, thank you, though "enjoy" the consequences of living in 2 homes only 20 minutes from each other but in two different countries; the issue is with mundane things like taxes, which school the kids go to, etc. We have one of our homes on the market and may well move (we like the sound of NZ - so my wife is closer to Bali and I am closer to family and friends) if we can afford it / keep our 2nd property. And how are you? OK or better I hope

But when you consider the USA is out conducting war, you may ask where is the harm in a few Militaria Auctions (http://www.vbid.me/catalog.asp?catid=361-Militaria) now and again?! It is not like anyone outside the US is selling nukes to Israel or anything right?! So why care about a few slimming capsules?!

Default Good to hear

you're all well. NZ is a good choice, a beautiful country. I seem to remember being told that travel from NZ to Bali is via Australia (no direct flights) so could prove to be a rather long journey however it's a lovely place and well worth considering. It's certainly much closer than your current location. The Sunshine Coast of Australia is also a great place. Hope you get some joy with the sale of your property.

I'm doing OK, thank you. I seem to be suffering from the effects of just getting older with a few aches and pains developing and not quite the same energy levels. However, far be it from me to complain as I do extremely well compared to many others.

I'm planning to go to Bali some time within the next few months to visit friends so hopefully nothing will get in the way and it will go ahead.

Good luck with your plans, let us know how they work out.

Catherine
