Hi guys,

Arriving on the 12th for 3 weeks and i would like a relatively cheap and safe Bungalow off poppies. Staying with my girlfriend and we intend to surf and relax around Bali. We are quiet and respectful people.

Would appreciate anything that you can recommend.

Although not off Poppies Lane, perhaps you might look at Suri Wathi in Jl. Menuh (Jl. Sahadewa) in Legian. A great place to stay. If you google them you should be able to find plenty of links with a bit of information. You might also try searching the forum as they have been mentioned in the past here.

You could also check out the Bali for Families web site and see what accommodation they recommend. They have some Kuta properties that would be worth a try.

Try the "Secret Garden Inn" about 300,000 per double per night including breakfast about $40 AU for two

Just off Poppies 1 and close to the beach and a lot of cheap good restaurants.

I have booked for Feb,it gets great reviews and you can book online without paying. Pay 50% 0n arrival and balance when you check out.

You could also try the Massa Inn which is in Poppie 1 and the Le Waldron which is also in Poppie 1
