Default Hotel info

Hi guys,

My sister and myself will be spending 5 nights in Bali next April. I am looking for a budget place but it must be safe with no bed bugs. I was thinking about Bakung sri beach hotel.Dose any one have any info on this hotel or another in this price range.

Thanks

Take a look at the "Secret Garden Inn" In Poppies 1

We are considering this one in Feb as it gets pretty good reviews and we spent a lot of time eating in Poppies 1 the last couple of times we went.

"The Barong" on Poppies 2 is quite cheap and in the thick of it and looked quite good for the price. The Barong is very poular and on the travel agents list, so should be nice and clean .

Another one we looked at while there was the "Samsara" A bit more expensive but looked nice and clean, modern and relaxed. It is just up Legian road a bit from Poppies 2

Poppies 1 and 2 are great to stay at because it is easy walking to everywhere, there is a couple of small lane ways that connect poppies 1 and 2.

We havent stayed in Poppies 1 yet but think we will this time.

I read the reviews on the "Bakung sari" and didnt like the attitude of the staff! We had that at "The Indah beach" a few years ago and it can get on your nerves a bit when the staff are more interested in watching TV than serving the guests.

Good luck with your hunting and let me know where you decide to book.

Den

Hi Cindy, just to let you know I booked the Secret Garden in Poppies 1 lane and you dont have to pay until you arrive at the hotel, and then you pay half up front then the balance when you check out.

at least this way it gives me a chance to change my mind without it costing anything.

A lot of 2 and 3 star hotels in kuta are pretty low to average and no where near the beach anyway, so I think I will stick to this booking as Poppies 1 is pretty central to everything.
