Default Pemuteran - Taman Sari rooms?

Hi all! I am planning my 4th visit to Pemuteran in May next year. Previously have stayed at Pondok Sar, Taman Sari & Taman Sellini. This time I plan to stay at Taman Sari again. I know the Ocean View Cottages and assume that the Garden View Cottages are similar except for orientation and location. What I am wondering is how the standard a/c room compares with the cottages. If anyone knows I would be pleased to hear.

Ta,
David

Default Hi David & Mark

Yep, copy that....lucky you.

Wish I could help but have never been.

I fell off the radar for a while as my computer went through a series of horrors. Didn't think it was ever going to end.

Am in the process of putting a JBR saga together for a trip to Bali a couple of months ago.

A question: How do I post a link to a website? Had a bit of trouble with a post a few days ago. I put the links in the Trackback box at the bottom of the page but it didn't work.

Hope all is going well for you both.

Catherine

Smile Hi Catherine

Great, looking forward to your JBR

When you post, the text box has a little planet Earth with a paperclip looking thing over it - that is actually a worldwide web link symbol and you just use that.

Hi guys, I hope you are all well!

Last October in Pemuteran was fantastic. The reef is coming on beatifully, a large ray at close proximity was a highlight of my time snorkelling.

A highlight of my trip to Ubud recently in July was the Royal cremation - 2 kings and 90 others all on one day! The smoke didn't clear for days. The float was 25 metres high (phone photo attached), the 2 bulls 10 metres high, and were carried the 1.5 km to the cremation ground by 30,000 men in relays of 400 at a time. Power and communication infrastructure between the palace and the cremation ground had to be removed for the day. Jl Raya from Campuan to near the palace became a carpark for taksi, cars and bikes. I have never seen so many people in Ubud! Or sarong sellers for that matter!

This September will again see us in Ubud for a few weeks with side trips to Amed for a couple of days for snorkelling and a couple of nights in Munduk - am really looking forward to it!

May next year will see a return to Ubud and Permuteran with my sister and husband in tow - their first Bali experience!

Cheers,
David
