Default Honeymoon in Bali

Greetings everyone,

I have wedding coming up in Sept., and I really wanted to go to Thailand, but I its rainy season and maybe outside of my price range. So, I was also thinking in visiting Bali, ironic that this website has a forum for both places that i want to visit on my honeymoon. Like I said I would be leaving the week of Sept. 16, and I want to stay approximately 12 days. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what cities would be best? I would want to visit 3 cities at the most. The first few day I want to relax, maybe stay at an all inclusive resort/hotel. After that I want to go sightseeing, and would like to stay at an afforable hotel.

Thanks everyone!

Default 12 days in Bali

As you are staying for 12 days only I would suggest you choose two places only and not three. To move every 4 days will mean a lot of packing, unpacking and time spent checking in and checking out of different accommodation.

I would suggest six nights in Ubud and six nights in on of the beach areas at either Sanur, Seminyak, Kerobokan or Cenggu. The last three places are all near each other with Sanur being a bit further away from these (about a 15-20 minute drive).

As Bali is a relatively small island you can easily go on day trips and excursions to visit temples, historic and ancient sites and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.

It may be a good idea to go to your local travel agent and book a package holiday with accommodation (usually includes breakfast) and transfers all in one. Much easier than working it all out yourself.
Travel brochures will give you many accommodation choices and then you can work to your budget. Do you have a Flight Centre travel agent near you?

Not knowing how much you would like to spend on a hotel it is difficult to make any recommendations.

Perhaps if you find some places that you like you could ask for opinions on this forum and advice from anyone who has already stayed there.

Good luck with your plans. I'm assuming it is your own wedding so congratulations.

Catherine

Default Honeymoon in Bali

Hi, Traveling is not easy task for any body. So as you given detail visit to Bali. There is lots of awesome places to visit for any new couples. In my opinion, Ubud Enclosed within a secluded tropical style compound, complete with personal swimming pool and other modern amenities, couples can discover the simple joys of an open-air Balinese lifestyle. Harmonizing with nature is one of the secrets of inner happiness and essential for couples beginning their life journey together. So i would also recommended that one for any new couple. As Bali is a relatively small island you can easily go on day trips and excursions to visit temples, historic and ancient sites and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery. And another i suggest the Banjar Villas Bali. So both are best in Bali.
