i am not very familiar with Lombok, the thing is, we will be going on a trip to Lombok.We need to check out the current fashion trend and the old fashion or clothing options in Lombok. Where should I start looking?

Ah ... you will need to do a lot of research because the Sasak people are very fashion conscious and if you chose the wrong apparel you may not get the cidomo driver to stop for you.
I would suggest a light cotton tropical suit and a tie at most times except when at the beach when a pair of swimmers would be more appropriate.

I live in Bali but have a Lombok partner. Outside of Senggigi (tourist area) and Kuta Lombok down south, they are delightful, friendly but conservative Muslims. That is, they'd appreciate us girls not to wear very revealing clothes. For example, shorts to the knees or lower, t-shirts not skimpy tank tops.

Men not so fussed, but still prefer longer shorts not the really short style.
