A question for you if you don't mind me asking.... roughly, how much have you been able to donate from the bookings to children's charities in Bali? No need to answer if you feel this information could be mis-used but I am genuinely interested.

Thanks for the kind words, I think it best I simply say "thousands" (USD). I do not want to say any more as I do not want others knowing my business. I will say that independent travel to Bali though is waaaayyyyyy down. Trouble is, people can get cheap all in packages (flights and Suharto owned hotels) for around the same cost as flights only, which is "daft" (contrived - as it is the Indonesian Govt that sponsors this). So smaller / independent hotels generally are suffering a bit from lack of western tourists for sure. My point only this has affected business (downwards) but I live in hope it will improve.
