Hallo all forum members, I am seeking to make contact (on or off line) with anyone who can/will tell me about life on Lombok. My wife and I plan to go there in the next year or so. Visit first...but we have access to a place for an extended stay if things work out. Would anyone care to weigh-in?

Lombok is totally laid back, less services than Bali but a trip to Bali is cheap and doesn't take long. The people in some places are a little more behind so to speak and much more simple. Better than Bali for mine as there a less tourist traps and pitfalls and it's more relaxing.
