Default Maskmakers in Mas

Hello all,

About four years ago I stumbled across the maskmaker Ida Bagus Anom in Mas. He had a large number of masks on display. I was most impressed with his work and purchased three very nice masks from him.

Two years later, I visited Bali again and went by his shop, only to be very unimpressed by the masks available.

I'm returning to visit Bali again this year and would like to purchase one or two high quality masks. Does anyone know if Ida Bagus Anom is still making masks, or can anyone suggest another carver of his caliber?

Thanks much!

John N

Thumbs up Hi John

I bought a few from one of the top makers, I Wayan Muka, who is also in Mas - can not give you directions but I am sure the local drivers know how to get to him.
