Paying in USD upon arrival is the quickest way to get through the queues. Anyone who pays by cc holds up the queues, and believe me, there will be a queue. Having the cash ready, in a $20 and $5 note, really moves the process along. When you depart from Australia, foreign exchange places will always give you the correct notes for Bali when they are told it for the arrival visas. Make sure you keep the receipt they give you to show you have paid, as it is required for when you depart Bali and have to pay the departure tax. This, by the way, is required in RPH. Best thing to do is when you first change your money up, put away the departure tax (250000rph) for each person so you do not have a mad scramble at the end of your well deserved holiday to get the money for the departure tax.
Enjoy - You will looooooove it!!
