Tri Kuncoro is Javanese (I think) but because he works as a police officer in Bali, he is a Balinese police officer. Although, I think he has now been moved to another island. They (the police) seem to do this when a police officer is subject to bad publicity (hence why Budi Setywan was shuffled after October 2002 and Made Pastika after October 2005); seems like they believe if the police officer moves to another island, the problem goes way (wrong, I am going to make sure Tri Kuncoro goes to jail).
