I've just booked my wedding at the melia bali in nusa dua. we are spending 11 days there in december.
does anyone have any recommendations for must-dos to make an amazingly memorable wedding/honeymoon stay? we want to obviously have a romantic stay but also see some traditional bali culture. i understand that nusa dua is a specially created tourist resort - any ideas for getting out and about?
oh, and I was interested to read the post about religious requirements posted today, does anyone know anything about having a catholic wedding where one of the parties is not baptised? my partner is catholic but i am not, however, we have seen a priest who is going to try and recommend that we can have a catholic wedding in bali by contacting the catholic church there - i think this is a certificate for disparity of religion? - does anyone know anything about how easy this might be? thanks.
