Looks like it is more than just a rumour.
Air Paradise collapses

he Australian Consulate-General in Bali has pleaded with passengers of collapsed airline Air Paradise International to show "cooperation and patience" in arranging alternative flights back home.
In a travel bulletin issued last night, the Consulate-General advised Australians that the airline stopped operating yesterday following a downturn in tourism because of the latest terrorist attacks.
Qantas Airways has agreed to take valid ticket holders back to their original destination before December 10.
Australians should extend their accommodation in the event of a rescheduled departure date, the bulletin said.
"We would ask for your cooperation and patience, particularly in dealing with staff at Qantas in Bali," it said.
"It is important to understand that Qantas are assisting in this operation on a no-fee basis and their office in Bali is not ordinarily equipped to handle a situation such as this."
Air Paradise offices in Bali and Australia have closed permanently.
The bulletin advised passengers to contact Qantas at the Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur on +62 361 288 331 or toll free on 001 803 61336, or in Australia on +61 7 32387776. Qantas is expected to have enough capacity to take home all passengers with valid tickets, but will put on additional flights if necessary.
Qantas, through its subsidiary Australian Airlines, operates regular services to the east coast of Australia but cancelled flights to Perth following the October 1 terrorist attack.
The bulletin advised Australians with unused Air Paradise tickets to Bali to contact their travel agent or travel insurer for advice.
Australians needing financial assistance who do not have travel insurance can contact the Consulate-General on +62 361 241 118 for information on transferring funds from Australia.
