Glad you took it well, but you did get well and truly suckered on the Babi Guling! The small pigs are better (sweeter) as well. Personally, I do not like the way they prepare the pigs in Bali (the herbs / spices they use), but IMHO the Bali pigs themselves are better tasting (if you leave the sauce off) than the Spanish (and Portuguese) piggies for sure. If you want the best suckling pig though, you have to go to the USA for that, where the method is very American, but the results are the best; they inject the pig (carcass) with BBQ sauce through a syringe before putting the porker on the spit!

Did you make it to Wah Wah Wey Wey restaurant at all? Their barracuda is the best ;-)
