I'm happy to pay anyone who is prepared to work for a living, whether it's shining your shoes or singing you a song as I've experienced in India and Thailand but to just put your hand out is pathetic.
In spite of all that's wrong with Bali, I just love it. The spirit of the people is a major aspect that I think we all love.
