when I went around Bali that Indonesian waiters in the south would welcome you "G'day mate" (and ask why your girl did not have her hair braided) before asking how many crates of Bintang you wanted. But when you went around the remote area of Bali, you found French, Germans, Brits and Americans, but hardly any Aussies. I think it is a bit like Majorca, a Spanish Mediterranean island massively frequented by beer guzzling, fish and chip eating Brits, except around the remote areas of the island where you find practically only Aussies and Kiwis!
