The hotel was visable from the road and on the beach. It had both the lumbungs I described going down to the beach with a 1 storey accommodation block further back, closer to the road. There was another 2 storey hotel next door(ish), I believe owned by an Aussie. The lumbungs were great, though really in need of refurbishment to say the very least, and used the coconut trees as pillar supports at the front, which looked very cool but did allow the huge ants to walk past and peek in your open window! The rooms were like US$3 a night. God, that must have been 6 years ago, my first ever walkabout around Bali.
