September is the best time to go. The least amount of Rain and the best weather. I always go then. At the most (over a 2 week period) we get one downpour. Last year we went at the end of Sept beginning of October for 17 days and we only got some rain as we travelled North to Amed. That's it. It just pours down and in about 10-30 min later it's all gone. A little steamy afterwards but not too bad. A couple of years ago they had a big down pour for a few days which was really unusual, all of the locals were wondering what happened. But we arrive just after it all and not one drop the whole time we were there.
