can you negotiate a reduced rate direct with the Jayakarta ? Often the net rate is far less than travel agents as there is no fee to pay the agent -
otherwise could you find a smaller hotel nearby ? I'll have l look later when I get home ( better not risk the Boss looking over my shopulder ! ) to see if there's anything nearby, or hopefully someone else can come with something :-)
