Hi Mintey - Will try to find out the name of the hotel by the area where the boats leave for Menjangen.
It was an Indonesian name (but have to say there is no beach there - it is among the mangroves, but there is a pool) I would think you would be happier at either the Taman Sari or Sileni - the beach there is much better, and the snorkelling is reportedly better - we did not have much luck at the time we stayed because of the sea conditions. The snorkelling at Menjangen is magnificent, and from the Silini and Taman Sari you can go directly by boat, which is a much more pleasant way to go. (the only operator close by Aneka Bagus went by car and then boat cost was US25 each. You could go with the Matahari operation but they charged 37 Euro each) If you want both beach and mountains, plus some variety in restaurants, I would recommend both Taman Sari and Silini (there is another called Pondok Sari which may be ok but did not appeal to us). Sorry I may have put you off Aneka Bagus, but think it is better to be honest about the situation. Hope you have a wonderful time.
