You are absolutely correct and the policy has not changed. We had booked via the internet so it was all explained to us before we confirmed the reservation. You are also correct in saying this isn't somewhere you go for a casual dinner - this is an occasion - something to get dressed up for (as much as the climate will allow) and really set your money aside for, and then take your time over the meal. This is more an activity than a meal - like booking a tour - if people are interested in this restaurant they need to really set aside time and go in relaxed expecting it all to take a while. We arrived at 7 pm and left at around 10.30 pm and really enjoyed it. C
