Great report on Mozaic, Carolyn. It really is a great dining experience and the food is just fantastic.
Although i have to say that when we went in March, we werent fully prepared for the level of fine dining we had walked ourselves in for !!
My only complaint was that our group of 3 had different levels of hunger. One wanted a snack, one was starving and the other, somewhere in the middle.
We were offered a choice of either a 3 course dinner or a 7 course dinner. I just wanted a starter, friend wanted 3 course dinner, other friend wanted 7 course dinner.
We perused the menus, took our time and made our choices to be told this was not possible. We All had to have a 3 course dinner or we ALL had to have 7 courses!
There was no flexibility on this.
This upset our experience for a few minutes!! But we decided to let it go...and have a bottle of very delicious but overpriced wine to renew our good spirits..
We then all ordered the 3 course dinner and shared the food around accordingly.
The food was delicious, the setting, wonderful and the staff [apart from not really explaining the menu choice situation] excellent.
Mozaic is not just somewhere to go for a nice dinner [which we were doing!} It is somewhere to get dressed up for, a place to go for a night out, a dining experience in the true sense of things.
So go prepared, knowing that by Bali standards it is very expensive. Also knowing that your group ALL has to choose from the 3 course Or All has to choose from the 7 course menu.
Unless of they have changed this policy by now.
