There are literally thousands of places to exchange money on the streets and you will definately find many places in sanur, the best place i found the last two times was in kuta Region. Airport probably isnt the best place to exchange. Make sure when you do change your money that the dealer does not charge commission, as some have very good rates but ridiculous commissions. i was in Bali in Feb this year, and did not get hassled very much, Sanur as it is a bit further out may be a little bit worse than kuta, but generally not that bad. The people are not rude just trying to make a living, if you tell them you are not interested they will leave you alone, as long as you dont promise to purchase something off them another day, if you do this they will remember it and not leave you alone and dont commit to any purchases you are not genuinly interested in. I have ben three times to Bali and never had a problem with hawkers.
Best thing to do with visa is to take 25US with you and this will make the arrival process very quick
