Not everyone wants to be photographed, particularly when engaged in daily activities that may be considered demeaning by themselves, to be captured on film.
As the lifestyle is so different to our own, many everyday activities are fascinating and interesting. It is a very good policy to ask first - "boleh photo"? - may I take a photo? If the answer is no, respectfully withdraw, there will be plenty of other opportunities.
Many people love having their photos taken and will often gather everyone to be part of the experience.
