Just curious - are there any dos or donts when it comes to taking photographs in Bali? On my previous trip, I stuck to the really obvious shots e.g. wide shots of rice terraces, main entrances of temples, that kind of thing. This time round, I would like to focus more on the people. Should I always ask before taking photographs? Is payment ever expected? Are there occasions when photography is frowned on e.g. temple ceremonies?
