Schapelle, her mother, and all the sad team supporting her, never really understood where they were, yet alone the legal implications of her situation. She was 'busted' in circumstances such that courts in 90% of the world would convict her. She lied - her 'never in trouble family' included a brother currently in jail in Q'land for assault and multiple break and enter offences - and a father who is a convicted drug offender.
Their 'backer' - is a 'mobile phone tycoon' from the Gold Coast - who sadly was placed in receivership on May 9th. In fact a multiple bankrupt!! The whole Gold Coast, lovely place though it is - is populated by people who construct their own reality - Tinseltown!!!
The 'TEAM' refused the services (to be paid by the Austr Government) of 2 Senior Counsel, one an expert in Indonesian Law!! The Government has offered the same team for the Appeal. Patently she played up to the Austr Media throughout the trial - she was in an Indonesian Court, not taking part in Big Brother!!
All so sad! All so 'hillbilly'!!!!!
