Hi,
we booked a room in the sofitel seminyak, but our travel agent says it is currently being renovated so we can't stay there. I'm a bit suspicious, because our travel agent is offering less expensive alternatives for the same price! Moreover, only last year some major renovation took place (refurbishment of rooms and swimming pool). Does anyone know how "major" current renovations are? We contacted the hotel, and they told us only minor alterations are carried out and we won't be bothered. But one can suspect that this probably is not an objective assessment of the situation. Has anyone recently visited the sofitel in seminyak (formerly known as the royal seminyak)?
