Air Asia is not a subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines. Its a budget, no frills airline. So, strict luggage allowances, no meals, no seat numbers, hefty penalties for flight changes,delays happen once in a while but, they are awfully cheap if you book them pretty much in advance, I had a return ticket for KL-Bali for US$75 compared to usual US$250 fare on MAS or SIA.For those in the UK, it is not like Kwiksave.
