At first I thought you must be a bit of a rebel without cause, but when I read the translation of the police report!!!!!! First, the fact you could bribe a police officer into giving you a copy of the official report is amazing and all telling about the police in Bali. Second, I “loved” the bit about the email you were being investigated for in the police report that says “the place of the writing and circulating of the e-mail was outside of Indonesia’ legislative boundaries so that it might be difficult to find a rapid solution”. So even though they realized they were acting illegally, they were still prepared to do this, but it might take a longer time because they were acting illegally. Then the bit where they were trying to hang you, literally, for saying in an email that Bali was not safe (I bet it was the bit about the police being corrupt they did not like) as this was spying!!!!! Finally I had to laugh when they said you should have asked their permission first before sending out such an email!!!!!! What utter bar stewards the Indonesian police and your “friend” Jack Daniels are!
I really hope you get these c suckers mate and do us all a favour. Good on yer!
And yeh, good news enough IF they actually sign the human rights treaty soon. They will have to one day.
