Its much better when travelling NOT to bring anything that you cant afford to lose. Not just to Bali but anywhere! I know it will be sad to get married without your engagement ring on but better that then lose it.
Dont misunderstand I'm not saying you are at risk of losing it in Bali but in any tourist area in the world there are people looking to rip you off. I'm a Londoner & I had my pocket picked while showing my cousin round the sights when she came!
