definately leave it home. If it fits well, you leave it on all of the time, wear it. Many Balinese wear jewelry.....it is not uncommon as that is how they save their money. When you buy gold in Bali, you are given a receipt, if you want to sell it back to the shop, it is not a problem with the receipt, and it is sold for the going rate, rather than the price purchased...a safer way to save than the banks in Indonesia....
I would not be concerned.....however, I always wonder if I didn't wear jewelry if I'd be given better prices....
