In 7 years on Lombok I have never been bored.
Dont worry there is plenty to see & do.
There is not the same level of tourist resorts, bars, restaurants, shopping malls etc If that is what you are looking for stay on Bali.
But if you want to discover the sasak culture & to get away from the tourist hoardes of Bali, Lombok is the place to go!
