We were last in Bali August last year and had a great time as usual, but like you, we wanted to give something back. We asked the driver that we usually have if he knew of an orphanage that needed some help, he asked around and found one that had not had as much help as others. The ages ranged from about 18months toabout 13 years, if the donations of clothing and toys that you bring are not suitable for the kids in a particular orphanage dont worry, they will still be passed on to those who need them. We got our driver to take us to the Macro market in Denpasar, we bought some huge bags of rice, boxes of noodles, and pens pencils and writing paper for the kids, they were over the moon. If you have a regular driver ask him about it, if he doesnt know, he will find out for you. If not I can give you the mobile number of our driver, or there are plenty of recomendations in this forum.
