Ms Smith
There seems to be more people supporting Asiarooms on this website and that worries me. Whether they are real people or paid to do so is questionable.
I would NOT recommend using this company and I fully support the admin's views here. I have posted my story on other bloggs in the hope to spare other people the nightmare we went through. Here is our story.
My husband and I booked a room with Asia Rooms this year for our trip to Thailand. Upon booking there was a some kind of "disconnection" as we booked online with our credit card. We were asked from the Asiarooms website to retry, which we did. After our holidays we were suprised to read on our CC statement that Asiarooms had booked us twice for the same room. We rang the Bangkok office and was rudely hang up when we queried and tried to explain the mistake. Upon our own investigations we found that the deal was made through a European based travel agent. We called them and they seemed polite but then they asked us through which website we booked and when we told them, the tone changed automatically to "Sorry, we can't help you. Please contact Asiarooms direct." So in the end after spending a lot of money on overseas telephone calls, we finally had enough and contacted our credit card company and asked them to investigate the matter. Funnily enough a week later we got our full refund from the credit card company. It seems that being blacklisted by a prominent credit card company finally made AsiaRooms pay our refund!
That said, I strongly recommend don't use them.
After the experience we googled them and were not surprised to hear from other travellers in regards to their cancellation nightmares.
