Hi. I am planning a trip in October to perhaps Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi or similar. There may be several of us there. We are interested in snorkelling, diving, kayaking, relaxing, etc. My concern is the weather during October. Just how wet is it then? Have any of you forum members been to these places in October? Is it a bad time to travel. I have had so many varying opinions about it, mostly from people who have never been there at that time of year :)

We also have considered hiring a car in Bangkok and driving down to krabi or Phuket, sightseeing on the way. Again the weather in October is an issue. Any suggestions? I hope someone has :))
