Hey there,

Well, I've decided to spend a day or two in bkk and then head to koh samui.

I found a resort on Koh Samui called the Health Oasis that looks good. It's in maenam, so it's a bit away from Chaweng Beach. I was wondering if anyone knows how far? Is it too far to walk?

I was thinking of staying at the resort a few days, then head over to Chaweng for a few days.

Originally, I didn't want to book ahead, but some of the cheaper hotels are filling up. Are there plenty of travel agents in Maenam to help me or should I make my decision in bkk before I head to Koh Samui.

I guess, I don't want to be stuck in Chaweng staying in a hotel that's out of my budget. Nor do I want to spend hours walking around trying to find hotels. I'm not picky. I'd prefer to crash in a beach bungalow than pay $100 on a hotel room, I'll only sleep in once. Are beach bungalows hard to find?
