You know, I agree with all of you - IT DOESNT SOUND RIGHT AND I WDNT COUNT ON IT MYSELF!! But ... I was only stating what I had been told. If I was flying Thai I wd def only pack max 20kg going over and ask and clarify what the return weight limit was ... just to be safe. We were a group of 6 who ALL had over 20kg per piece returning to Australia, so thats about 24 kg over the limit - I wd think that they would have said something about excess weight if it were a problem!
