FAO Kitty....30kg baggage??? Kitty, you've mentioned this a couple of times I think. "PS ... remember if you are flying Thai airways that their luggage limit for checked in is actually 30kg flying out and 25kg flying home AND NOT 20KG EACH WAY AS STATED ON YOUR TICKET!!!!!"
It's a bit of a weird deal as we usually come back home with MORE than we leave with, not less.
I'd be most interested to know where you found out about this as I've never been told/heard about this before.
I always have 30kg on any flight with Thai as I'm a Royal Orchid member with enough flights/points to allow me such privileges, but I have never heard of this being given to non-members flying Australia-Thailand.
My mother flew Melb-Bkk in January and nobody told her about that (me included because as I've said, I've never heard of that)
A friend will be making her first visit to Thailand in a few months time and flying with Thai. I'll pass this info on if there's no risk she'll be charged excess baggage.
So can you say where you found out about this?
