Furthermore, it hurt like hell, and a couple of times I stopped the dentist and said "why is this hurting me so much, why don't you give me a big shot?" So I figure she was saving by trying lower level shots first. All in all an unpleasant experience. I'll be a bit more savvy in future with Thai dentists. Anyway a tip for you all. Make certain the quote covers EVERYTHING, no hidden extras. And discuss what could possibly happen if something went wrong halfway through a treatment, what that would mean in terms of additional treatments. And if you have a very very low threshhold to pain as I do, make certain you will get the most effective shot - I want my mouth stone cold dead before a dentist goes in there.
