The plane ride will be fine. I have flown with Bangkok Airways in these planes often and find them just as stable as jets, just slower. The good news is that they are actually safer than jets as they can glide even if both props fail. Unfortunately this will not help a great deal if you are over water. I fly from Mildura to Melbourne at least once a month in much smaller twin prop planes and find them to be reasonably comfortable unless the weather is bad.
