Brown Brothers is an old established winery in Northern Victoria, around the Millawa area. They were renowned originally for their fortified wines, but over the past 40 years or so have developed a reputation for good quality table wines.
The varieties from Browns generally tend to be of the sweeter variety, such as reisling in the whites, however, a number of their reds are absolutely superb. Their durif is magnificent, the downside being that the durif takes around 7 years cellaring to bring it to its peak.
