I am just a tight wad and cant bring myself to pay some of the prices they charge on Samet and somtimes forget that not everyone is likeminded
Perhaps I still conjure memories of my first visit to Samet in 1990 after spending 5 weeks in Pattaya, which was a welcome refuse?
I take your point fully and am perhaps a bit bias as we love Samet and visit often, and when you see a place grow in front of you then it doesnt really seem to grow that much!
I think Samet is a great place to visit when you have limited time left in BKK and just want to get away from it a bit, and after seeing it mentioned in the travel colums in the Aussie news papers and talk about building bigger resorts there I thought it would be a good suggestion to get an Island break so close to BKK before its too spoilt.
