Go to Kho Samet,I have been going since 1990 and is the only island that hasnt been spoilt too much!
It is only 3 hours drive fron Bangkok and a trip there through a local agent will cost you next to nothing.
Mini bus to Ban Pha then 20 min ferry to Samet Island.
You will not be dissapointed!
Accomodation is very easy to get when you arrive but make sure you stay on "Saikow" (white sand beach) one of the best beaches in the world the sand is like Talk.
