As we say we have always loved this hotel and so do friends of ours.

The service is very good and the breakfasts leave everywhere else standing.

As for rooms bit difficult to say. I have not been in a superior room.

There are rooms around the pool at the back. Dont let the hotel being split across the road put you off it is not a problem.

Being bored. i don't think so as you have all the action of chewang and surrounding areas on your doorstep.

Having stayed at that end you know that the beach is not as good as at the other side.

I do think that the deals that you can get here make it a very affordable option at that time of year. You don't get these deals if you try to book directly with them or anywhere else but through a travel agent. The only other off putting thing is that they have deals on for families. Mind you the chewang regent did not have these on last year and it was like a creche.

In the past I have emailed before staying and asked if they would consider an up grade to a deluxe. Worth a try!
