THe trouble you will will have with most of the moderately priced places is that you will have to take 2 rooms or a family room which will tend to be expensive. Our kids are 9 and 6 and we are starting to have trouble finding rooms that will accomadate all of us. We just came back from AO Nang, which we loved as it reminded us of Patong 15 years ago, and we stayed at the Somkiet Buri in a deluxe triple room which was huge and had a queen bed as well as a large single. If you are flexible in your plans, have a look at Ao nang as it gives you great access to some fantastic Islands, daytrips, and has plenty going for it.
