I will going to Phuket in Dec and probably staying in Kata. Where may I ask is a good place for snorkelling on mainland Phuket? Any snorkelling at Kata? Should I go on an island hopping trip for nearby islands? I have been to Phi Phi island before. Thanks

BTW any hotel to recommend for me to stay in Kata for about 2000 to 2500 baht?
