best place for the freshest Thai seafood is Kan Eang I or II
both are located on the water in Ao Chalong and they are great!! been eating theri for over 24 years.

Avoid the seafood restaurants in patong unless you like very overpriced thai food same goes even more so in kata/Karon.

Try the strret food on the third road behind Junk Ceylon.

alsothe Fuji rest in Junk Ceylon juts opened and is good for japanese food.

Great small restaurnats in Patong on the beach and as one poster mentioed Sea hag has spome very good thai food

Looking for a bit of America with some great Mexican food? Try Coytotes on the beach road above starbucks plus a great Filipino banmd that plays nightly form 9 pm.
It aint cheap (average meal will cost ya 300 baht) but great drinks and nightly specials
