Thanks for the tip about the reggae bar, might check it out but probably give it a miss. I like to know what something is going to cost me before I order it and I don't like the thought of people checking me out to see what they can steal from me. It's pretty hard to relax when you think you are an obvious target, especially if the management is not looking out for you. I always try to be sensible but I guess we can all let out guard slip and unfortunately sometimes there are people just waiting to pounce!! Would definitely have been upsetting for you, I hope that you didn't lose too much.

How have you found the shopping in Kata in comparison to Patong ?
